Big Sugar: Stop Threatening WHO and our Health!

A new report from the Center for Science and Democracy at the Union of Concerned Scientists (UCS) found that the Corn Refiners Association and the Sugar Association have been spending billions of dollars covering up the link between sugar and health problems.

"Big Sugar" threatened to pull funding for the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Food and Agriculture Association if they didn't pull a report that proved sugars "threaten the nutritional quality of diets." They have also been hiring independent scientists to cast doubt on studies that criticize sugar consumption.

Consumers read studies to educate themselves on the foods they need to eat and serve their families in order to lead a healthy lifestyle. Bribing people to bury data that counters an agenda is unethical and unnecessary. Please sign the petition to urge Big Sugar to stop using threats and bribes to hide sound research!

Consumers read studies to educate themselves on the foods they need to eat and serve their families in order to lead a healthy lifestyle.
