Canadian Government, Help Protect Sex Trafficking Victims!

In a country like Canada, one would assume that human sex trafficking doesn't occur.  However, sex trafficking still exists within Canadian borders. The federal government is currently considering new legislation on how to handle prostitution, and they should use this opportunity to create laws providing better protection for sex trafficking victims.

Marginalized young women and girls are the most frequent victims of sex trafficking in Canada.  In order to effectively help these victims, the government should fund programs to help girls and women stay out of violence and poverty.  Assistance to help victims of human trafficking advocate for themselves would help ensure that these criminals are caught.

Tell the Canadian Government to step up and help protect sex trafficking victims!
