When a dog arrived at a veterinary clinic in
Birmingham, Alabama in August 2026, vets immediately knew something was very wrong.
The dog had clearly been badly beaten, likely with a blunt force instrument. His injuries were incredibly severe, leaving him suffering and in intense pain and confusion.
Veterinarians rushed to try to save his life, but he had been too badly wounded. He died from his injuries.

They reported the case to local authorities, who began an investigation into who had inflicted these blunt force trauma injuries. Eventually, a young man turned himself in. He has now been charged with first-degree cruelty, including intentional torture, to a dog or cat.
Sign the petition to ensure that this person never lives with, owns, or works with animals in the future! He must also be mandated to seek intensive treatment for whatever mental health issues or anger caused such a violent outburst in the first place!
