Passage of Tobacco 21

Tobacco 21 will raise the purchase age of all tobacco products from 19 to 21 years of age. Tobacco is the leading cause of disease and premature death in the United States and one of the largest driver of health care costs. Over time, the Institute of Medicine says there will be a 25% decline in smoking initiation by teenagers.
