Bring Back Fortnite’s Classic Menu & Emote Wheel

Fortnite’s current menu system has ongoing glitches that are affecting the player experience in a frustrating way. The friends list often displays the wrong information — showing one person, but placing you into a completely different party when you join. It can also incorrectly show who someone is playing with, which causes confusion and accidental party joins.

On top of that, the scrolling system frequently resets or jumps back to the middle of the list, forcing players to scroll through the same names repeatedly just to find the right friend. This makes something that should be simple unnecessarily frustrating.

The updated emote wheel has also made things more difficult. Instead of quickly selecting emotes by remembering their page placement — like many long-time players are used to — we now have to search and type in emote names. Remembering exact names is much harder than remembering placement, and it slows down gameplay moments that should feel quick and fun.

We are asking Epic Games to address these menu glitches and strongly consider restoring the classic menu layout and emote wheel design that worked smoothly and efficiently for years.

Fortnite thrives when the user experience is clean, intuitive, and reliable. Right now, it isn’t.

The volume and spread of complaints across Reddit, Facebook, and gaming news sites strongly indicates that this is a popular point of frustration among Fortnite players, and not an isolated one.
