Stop cruel elephant training in Nepal

In Nepal virtually all captive elephants are trained using traditional methods. The training leaves elephant calves traumatised and injured.

Humane training has been introduced in Nepal but is still in its infancy. Evidence based humane training methods avoid trauma, improves the bond between animal and caretaker and leads to happy, confident and obedient working elephants. 

Sign this petition today to urge the authorities to introduce humane training for this majestic animal.

We, the undersigned, urge you stop the cruel training of elephant calves at the Elephant Breeding Centre. 

The training leaves elephant calves traumatised and injured. Please replace the cruel methods with humane ones, to avoid trauma and to improve the bond between animal and caretaker, for the wellbeing of happy, confident and obedient working elephants.
