A new report from the Daily Beast claims that Donald Trump and RFK Jr. are planning to ban the COVID-19 vaccine within months.
Dr. Aseem Malhotra, a British quack cardiologist who parrots the same anti-vax nonsense beloved by cranks like RFK Jr. and grifters hawking horse paste to rubes on social media, told the Beast that many in RFK Jr.'s circle have told him they "cannot understand" why the vaccine continues to be prescribed, and that a decision to remove the vaccine from the U.S. market pending further research will come "within months," no matter the fear or chaos that such a move might inspire.
The COVID-19 vaccine has been proven beyond a doubt to be safe, has helped save the lives of millions of people, and has made it possible for human society to resume functioning the way it did before the pandemic broke out.
