Allow the Valuable Discussion of Mental Health

Health class is one of the most valuable classes students take in high school, because it is the most personal. We need the ability to access information about mental health since it is a huge part of our lives, and our society sees it as too taboo to discuss. It is necessary, though, that we don't accept teenagers having to search in other places to learn about what goes on in their heads. Adding more mental health discussion into Sunset High School will help destroy stigmas, limit bullying due to ignorance of mental illnesses, and give students information about treatment. Education is the key to building a suicide safer community, and allowing students to discuss what they may have never spoke about before, will let students know they are not alone.
