Puppy Mills are horrifying places where dogs are abused and neglected. Dogs are locked in small cages in horrible conditions with almost no socialization or vetrinary  care. They are bred constantly and are sold to pet stores where people will buy them. Have you seen that cute puppy in the window, at those pet stores? That little dog most likely came from a puppy mill.
