Ontario Women Deserve Free Annual Pap Tests

Being a woman who's been diagnosed with cervical issues at a young age, I am appalled to find out that the Ontario government no longer covers the cost of a yearly annual pap.

As more and more women become sexually active at a younger age, it is essential for these annual pap test to be screened routinely without charge or age restriction. STIs and cervical cancer-related issues do not see an age or a gender.

I can not stress enough the importaince of having a yearly pap tests. It is never certain when a women's health can be put to risk, regardless of her age.

Do not allow the Government of Ontario's Health Care restrict your right to safe sexual health.

Demand the reinstatement of free annual Pap Tests!

I am writing to express my shock and disappointment that the Ontario government is no longer offering annual Pap tests to women free of charge.

The Canadian Cancer Society estimated that 1,350 Canadian women were diagnosed with cervical cancer and 390 died from the disease in 2012. It is essential that women have affordable and regular access to Pap tests, regardless of their age.

Please reinstate free annual Pap tests immediately.
