Personal Finance

There is legislation going through both the state House and Senate in North Carolina that would create an economics and personal finance class that students would need to pass to graduate from high school. In order to do so, the state may need to eliminate one of two currently required U.S. history courses. However, currently in the CTE course catalogue there is a Personal Finance class offered. Students can be mandated to take that course and no other course would have to be eliminated.
