Justice For Nerreada

Back in February 13, 2019, my younger sister Nerreada Robles was struck and killed by a Camden County police SUV on East State Street and Harrison Avenue. The police officer was responding to a call for a homeless man sleeping in a McDonald's that is located right across the street from the Camden County Police station.

Officer James Lopez was driving 57 miles per hour, which is twice the speed limit he was actually supposed to be driving, and without his sirens.

My sister did everything right, she stopped and looked both ways before crossing the street. And all they did was give the officer two tickets, one for careless driving and the other for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

Nerreada's friends and family do not find this fair nor right at all what so ever. So we would like for everyone to sign this petition to help bring Justice For Nerreada.

    Thank you.
