SAVE THE AFFORDABLE STUDENT HOUSING ON HILGARD AVENUE

Save the existing affordable housing at 900 Hilgard Avenue, Podshare, a pioneering co-living facility, from being destroyed by two Beverly Hills doctors who want to build a $100 Million high-rise.

Doctors Ted Khalili and Eraj Basseri, propose a development that would cost an estimated $100 million and would produce rental rates between $2000 and $3000 per bed. They claim they can offer $1100 per bed but that would mean they would lose $250K per month and go bankrupt within 1 year. Podshare costs $840 a month.

These doctors are exploiting the issues of affordable housing and student homelessness to try to get Councilmember Paul Koretz and Chairman Michael Skiles to drink their kool-aid.

We need help to save Podshare.

Show these wealthy Beverly Hills doctors that they can't pull a bait and switch on students for their own financial gain. Please sign our petition so we can insist Councilman Koretz and Chairman Michael Skiles of the NWNC tell the developers their proposal is unacceptable.
