Dragon Ball has become a large pop culture icon in America. With the release of the new movie, it has once again grown in popularity. As a result, more people are watching the anime and reading the manga more than ever. However, Japan has gotten a brand new version of the Dragon Ball manga, which is the Digital Colored release (Not to be confused with the Full Color Manga). This version is very similar to the Full Color release, however keeps the tankoban format of the original grayscale volumes and is released digitally.
This petition is for Viz Media to release the Dragon Ball Digital Colored Manga here in the United States. It will be a source of large profit for the company and many fans will be happy about the release. Although the original grayscale tankoban volumes are very enjoyable to read, it is very weird to see some pages looking very shaded as these were originally colored by Toriyama himself. Although this was fixed in the VizBig Editions, it is more censored than the Japanese version. Help get the Digital Colored Edition released here in the United States by signing this petition and letting Viz know that we fans want this released here, uncut and uncensored.
