demand the end to the BBC TV Licence

The BBC Licence is not fit for purpose. If an individual doesn't watch BBC and only watches channels 4,5, STV, and the many programmes on Freeview etc then they should not have to pay a licence to the BBC. It is not as if the BBC give any of the other channels a proportion of what they get from imposing a licence fee so they are basically blackmailing the public ie: you own a TV with an aeriel so pay up regardless of the fact you may never watch BBC. This is unfair and The BBC should either do as the other channels do and broadcast adverts or introduce a Pay as You View Scheme. This unfair BBC licence must stop.
