11 Counts of Felony Sexual Assault and This Former Utah Bishop Gets to Go Home!

Keith Robert Vallejo was found guilty of ten counts of second-degree felony forcible sexual abuse and one count of object rape, a first-degree felony. Then they let him go home, free to assault again until his sentencing.

He posted cash bail and will be sentenced in April. But in the meantime, he is a free man, home with 8 children and his wife. Judge Thomas Low decided he wasn't a risk. That is insane. He was just convicted of 11 violent crimes.

There is a hearing tomorrow, Thursday, March 30, to ask the judge to reconsider putting him behind bars until his sentencing. Please join in putting the pressure on to make it happen!

His victims are reasonably extremely upset and so are we! Two of his victims appeared in court and described him groping them while they pretended to sleep on the family's couch. Vallejo was in a position of power as a bishop and so these young girls believed it was safe to stay in his home.

We demand that this man be held in jail until his sentencing. A jury of his peers found him guilty of sexual assault and rape, this is a violent criminal. Why does he get to be free until his sentencing? It seems the judge did not consider the safety of those around him at all when making this decision.

Sign the ask that Keith Vallejo be incarcerated until his sentencing, for the safety of those around him, and his past victims.
