Vaccination delay risks effectiveness of the vaccines

The Governments decision to extend the delay period between the first and second doses of the vaccines presents a potential risk to the efficacy of the vaccines. This in turn presents additional risk to the population. This policy is not based on data and it would seem much wiser if the 12 week period would be reduced to a maximum of 6 weeks as suggested by the BMA.
