Ask Hamilton Ontario to go no kill!

While Hamilton, Ontario has a humane rescue program for wildlife, the same can't be said for pets and feral cats. There is no adoption or foster program, no low cost spay neuter program, no Trap Neuter Return program for cats, and worst of all, some strays are sent to labs. Toronto has full humane services. We ask Hamilton does the same.

Dear Hamilton Animal Services,

Thank you for continuing to bring wildlife to rehab centres, despite dealing with a rabies outbreak.  Wildlife deserves care.  So do domestic animals.  Please consider creating an adoption and foster program for pets, a low cost spay and neuter clinic for pets, a Trap Neuter Return program for feral cats, remove the cat at large bylaw, and stop sending animals to laboratories.  Sending animals to laboratories only subjects them to illness and injury before euthanasia.  Consider creating opening hours that work for working people, and hire a professional photographer to increase adoption. Please become no kill.
