Save the Quayside NHS Walk-in Clinic

Quayside Medical Centre in Grimsby has delivered an NHS Walk-in service to the local community since 2009. Now, due to changes in funding we may have to reduce the service from 10am till 3pm 7 days a week, to just 10am till 3pm on weekends and bank holidays only.

Since launching, the walk-in service has treated over 55,000 people and we believe it offers an effective alternative to A&E for patients who have urgent medical symptoms but do not require life saving or emergency treatment, thereby reducing the pressure on the local hospital.

We urge patients and supporters of the service to sign the petition which asks the local NHS Commissioners for additional funding to keep the service going.
