Michigan, put your helmet back on!

Some people love to ride motorcycles, because it's lighter and faster than any other transportation vehicle. But it can be dangerous for 2 reasons. If you don't know how to ride a motorcycle, or you're not wearing your helmet.

Not long ago, Ruth Johnson of the Secretary of State of Michigan passed a law saying motorcyclists can decide to wear a helmet or not once their 21 years of age. I believe it was a huge mistake. I saw a few motorcycle accidents outside my own car, and most of the motorcyclists in those accidents had their helmets off. And died. If they had their helmets on, they probably would have walked away with a concussion and had a better chance of survival. Michigan needs a real helmet law to make sure people are riding safe on their motorcycles, and prevent anymore deadly motorcycle accidents.
