Place Mercer Island Parks In A Trust To Protect Them From Private Development

Mercer Island parks are under threat and we need your help to PROTECT them!
In In the 1990’s the City planned to build an 18-hole golf course in Pioneer Park. Citizens joined together to defeat that effort by putting Pioneer Park in a trust thus protecting it to this day and into the future!
Fast-forward to 2018 and another “jewel", Mercerdale Park in the Town Center, is at risk of development.
Help us convince our City Council that Islanders are serious about protecting our parks by endorsing the statement below:
