Trump's Pentagon Tried to Muzzle Reporters — Stand with Those Who Refused to Stay Silent!

Trump's Pentagon just announced new "rules" that punish reporters for doing their jobs — threatening to revoke access for journalists who publish information the Pentagon hasn't pre-approved.

Dozens of respected defense reporters have already quit in protest, and marched out together, refusing to be complicit in a system that muzzles the free press and turns them into cheerleaders for a wanna-be dictator.

A free and independent press is not optional — it's essential to democracy. The public has a right to know what our military is doing, and reporters must be free to tell them, and to hold those in power accountable.

We stand with the journalists who walked away rather than surrender their integrity.

Tell the Pentagon: "Drop the gag order. Restore full press access. Defend the First Amendment."
