Change the statue of limitations in North Carolina when to be able to sue for wrongful death

I had a family member who died from cancer and I know that the mother asked several times when the child was born at the hospital about her child's stomach, she has to nurse and the doctors and they all told her that was just normal for a child's stomach to look that way/enlarged. After the mother went home with her child she had several doctors appointments with the child's pediatric doctor or regular check ups the mother also asks the doctors there about her child's stomach why did Looked to be enlarged or bigger than it should be for a newborn. Also they told the mother that was normal for the child's stomach to look that way. Royal waste time went on the child grew a little older or a newborn child grew a little bit older and the mother took the child to a regular visits as normal . Well.child started having symptoms of itching real bad scratching the skin of her body. The doctor's ruled it out as eczema. As Time move forward to child had gotten really bad at scratching her body and her skin. The mother did the best you could keeping the child comfortable especially at night times. Well as a child got older she got sick one day and her mother took the child to her regular doctor and she gets to the doctor office the kid was checked in and taking to a room. At the Dr. Visit with the child's pediatric doctor she was told her child's oxygen levels were low. So they gave the child oxygen and albedo..But none of that was helping with the child's oxygen levels were they should have been or be. The mother /Child was taking from the doctors office to the hospital where they admitted her baby 18 months old. The pediatric doctor at the hospital comes into child or patient's room she tells child's mother she's more concerned of the child's stomach or abdomen looking enlarged. The doctor tells the mother she's going to take the child for some testing to see why her stomach is enlarged. The mother tells the doctor that was a question she had been asking for 18 months why her child stmach was large or bigger than her other children she had. The next day came the doctor came in the room with the mother and her father to the side of the room and told them that the child had and Enlarge Liver and a Enlarge spleen. The doctor told the mother and father they would get them to a doctor who could answer their questions and find out why the child had a large liver and large spleen. Long story short this mother gave birth to her child a newborn baby girl in 2008. The mother asked when the child was born while her stomach looks so big the child was born with yellow Jinus and a heart murmur at the time when she had thechild in the hospital after giving birth. The doctors and the nurses told the mother that child stomach was normal and the yellow Jinus went away because they kept the baby up under a the light for hours or so maybe a couple days not really sure. The point I'm trying to make is this mother asked a concerned question about her child numerous times after she had gave birth to the child at the hospital. The mother got the same answer every time that it was just normal for a child's doing to look that way. Nobody never tried to send a child for any blood work when he kind of testing to answer the concern with this question. The mother goes home with a child and a child experience a few health situations that was going on with her itching scratching her body scratching her skin irritable couldn't sleep at night. Hakuna find out this child had a large liver and Lord explained the child would later diagnosed with cirrhosis to the liver they ruined out as crypto genetic cirrhosis to the liver and the prognosis was poor or unknown. The child ended up having three liver transplants less than 2 weeks apart in 2013 the child stay in the hospital after that 5 months before she came home. She lived 3 years after that and she passed away in 2015 from cancer. A mother lost a child and his mother need time to grieve and anybody knows that lost a child we're all going to grieve and we all fight depression anxiety every single day night this mother deal with a very sad and tragedy situation losing her child. 5 years past and his mother tried to asked a lawyer about her child situation and how her child was neglected or how a mother's concerned question was never answered. The lawyer told the mother that it was too late to try to do something that the statue of limitations in North Carolina is 5 years. I feel like that the statue of limitations for situation like this should be greater than 5 years I feel like it should be at least 7 to 10 years maybe a lifetime because this mother was with a child ,she was concerned about and Know one never asked to or try to answer her question and at the end of the day her child ended up having cancer and I just feel like that she should have longer than 5 years to fight this situation I noticed well the personally is she the very good friend of mine and I feel like the statue invitations in North Carolina should be greater than 5 years. I'm asking anyone everyone who see this petition to sign it and let's stand with his mother and let's have the statue of limitations in North Carolina changed to greater than 5 years for a situation like this Mother's not exactly sure how you would word it maybe someone could help me but I feel like this mother should have more than 5 years because she needed time to grieve she lost a child and we all know that any of us who's lost a child that it never goes away.
