Tell Democrats to fight back harder against Trump -- and thank the ones who are already doing it

We salute the Democrats who have been bravely taking on Trump since day one -- but we need the rest to join them and fight harder.

Too many Democratic leaders are still acting as if Donald Trump were a normal president -- rather than an outright threat to our democracy and our nation. And they are opposing him with the usual sternly worded letters, and expressions of disappointment.

Those Democrats need to fight back harder, and use whatever legal and moral means they can to stop Trump.  

They need to speak forcefully and consistently about the magnitude of Trump's threat. They need to rally citizens to protest and not let Trump's actions become normalized. They need to block Republican legislation and priorities with whatever arcane procedure they can use.  And they need to get a hell of a lot more creative -- and courageous.

Our country needs them to lead NOW, not when it is too late.
