THE INTERIEW is a low brow satirical comedy produced by Sony Pictures depicting the assassination of Kim Jung Un, North Korea's dictator. Prior to release,, and in retaliation, North Korea hacked Sony's computers stole and/or released employee personal information, internal communications, and movies both complete and in production. The hackers made online threats should THE INTERVIEW be released. Initially Sony resisted, but when several theater chains announced they would not show THE INTERVIEW, Sony cancelled its release.

Never before has a foreign power been able to censor freedom of speech and expression in the United States of America. This sets an incredibly dangerous precedent. It portends a future in which foreign groups or heads of state can control what you're able to see, say, or hear through threats of terror. If this can happen in the most powerful, vibrant democracy in the world, what will occur in the rest of the world.

It must be stopped, now, at the moment it begins. Every citizen needs to stand up to North Korea's bullying, for today, and generations to come. Liberty has a price, but losing it is even more expensive.
