Demand the implementation of buzzer systems and metal detectors together in schools

In 2010 in Sullivan County, Tennessee a person entered Sullivan Central high school with a gun and proceeded to open fire. Since then other schools in the county put buzzer systems on the doors of the schools which has proven to be effective against civilians from just walking in unnoticed. In light of the 2018 Parkland shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School ; the shooter had come into the school after classes had already started, pulled the fire alarm then opened fire. If these two incidents had prior implemented a buzzer system and metal detectors together into the schools then there would of been a high chance of prevention in the shootings. For the individual solutions stated themselves; the buzzer system would deter outside intruders while the metal detectors pertains to the mental health aspect of the mass shooting problem. Metal detectors promote a sense of security while deterring any students from bringing a gun into a school.
