Keep the 2-Hour FREE PARKING in Manly

The Manly Council’s Budget for 2012/13 includes a proposal for the removal of the “2 HOURS FREE” period in all our Car Parks. This action will result in:



    • tourists, visitors and local residents to shop and dine elsewhere (why go to Manly when Warringah Mall has free 2 hour parking?)

    • loss of income for retailers and businesses

    • commercial and retail businesses will not consider Manly as a location - one of the reasons we set up in Manly was that clients from the city and elsewhere would be keen to visit us.



Please reject this proposal immediately - it will definitely contribute to the death of local commerce in Manly at business, retail and social levels.
