DEMAND TO IMPROVE PRIORITY MAIL SERVICES

  • af: Jay Devaughn
  • mottagare: Patrick R. Donahoe, Postmaster General

In the United States of America, continuous cash flow and capital needs of the Post Office seems to take precedence over the rights of the consumer to have their packages sent in a timely fashion. Priority Mail is sent without the proper guarantees that it will arrive at specified destinations. Moreover, people are paying their hard earned money for domestically shipped mail and packages either aren't shipped properly or are perpetually "in transit" without reaching their destination in a timely fashion.

We, the undersigned, hold that postal services that people are paying for should be carried out in excellence and care.

We, the undersigned, also maintain that if those services are not up to standard, or if there is a problem with the package arriving at the destination specified, the customer should be given an explanation as to why and an applicable refund of their monies, regardless of the type of mail.
