We Shouldn't Let Noah Galvin Continue to Star in "Dear Evan Hansen"

"Dear Evan Hansen" is a Broadway show that supports mental illness and promotes kindness. Now that Ben Platt has left the lead role (Evan Hansen), Noah Galvin is here to replace him. This is an awful fit for such an open and accepting show. Noah has said extremely racist things on his social media accounts. For example, he took a picture of a POC, a baby to be more exact, and compared its eyes to Confucian. He has also done blackface in the past. Noah has also made derogatory comments towards bisexual people, shamed members of the LGBT+ community for coming out in a way he didn't agree with, and has called Colton Haynes' coming out "fucking pussy bullshit." He's shamed people for being confused with their sexuality, and has made jokes that are extremely offensive to people with mental illness. "Dear Evan Hansen" is supposed to support positivity and kindness, and based on his actions, Noah Galvin does not. An easy solution to this would be to have one of the understudies to fill in as Evan Hansen (Colton Ryan, Michael Lee Brown). To the creators of "Dear Evan Hansen", I beg you to rethink your decision to have this man play Evan Hansen.
