Aramark is no doubt one of the largest food providers in the world. In 2018 their annual revenue reported at the end of the year was 15.79B a 8.13% increase from 2017, according to macrotrends.net. That is a lot of money isn't it? However, it still is a mystery why the food quality remains poor, and the students are paying top dollar for below average food, aquiring food poisoning, and experiencing gastrointestinal discomfort. Not to mention Aramark is one of the biggest profiteers from mass incarceration, and there have been a myriad of reports regarding their santitation issues. I personally have had uncooked chicken, hair in my food, wilted lettuce and other rotting vegetables. As a student at Berklee College of Music, I do not want to pay $3k+/semester for prison food. It is no surprise that other universities have had issues with Aramark's food services such as, NYU, Barnard, Western Washington University, FSU, and many others. This petition was created to discontinue Berklee's use of Aramark food services. The students have the power, speak up and be heard!
