Katie Taylor, one of Ireland's greatest ever athletes, won't get her dream homecoming fight in Croke Park after talks ended due to the costs and time constraints. Instead, Katie Taylor will now fight in Dublin's 3Arena on the 20th May - a capacity which holds around 9,000 - 11,000. Underwhelming..

Taylor's long-awaited homecoming fight looks set to take place against Amanda Serrano should she defeat Erika Cruz this Saturday. Taylor and Serrano made history with last year, headlining Madison Square Garden in front of 20,000 people.
