Facebook allows people to create communities to broaden networks, which is great, however when social networking allows communities for animal abuse, and abuse of any kind it should rethink its community guidelines. I know there are many others and the Internet is hard to moderate but with repeated users reporting this page Facebook refuses to take it down, because it does not breach its guidelines.
This is petition is not just to pull down this particular community page but for Facebook to rethink its guidelines to stop abusers of any nature from publicly encouraging and promoting animal abuse and murder. There is absolutely no reason that the murder of animals should not be held at the same obscenity as murder of a human. Violence of any kind should not be promoted, and Facebook is accessible by youths, such open acceptance will only lead to more violence against animals and soon other humans.
by pressuring Facebook to tighten its approach to pages and communities promoting hunting we put pressure on the world that this kind of senseless violence will not be tolerated. We do not tolerate abuse against pets, let's speak up for the wild ones.
