Animal Care: Monthly animal intake/out take numbers, adoption/transfer numbers & euthanasia numbers. All presented in original PetPoint software program or other applicable shelter software.
2)
Financial Information: Monthly Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, & Budget Comparisions to Actual Expenditure Reports.
3)
Board Meeting Agenda & Minutes: Within 72 hours of board meetings agenda & minutes should be published on the CVHS website.

We the undersigned - For the Sake of Animals, a newly formed animal advocacy group, request the Cedar Valley Humane Society of Cedar Rapids, Iowa/USA become accountable and transparent regarding the operation of its shelter and use of its funding. Our community makes donations to the Cedar Valley Humane Society to fulfill its Mission Statement Objectives. These objectives include (1) we respect animal life & promote the good health of animals. (2) we believe euthanizing healthy adoptable animals is not acceptable. Current Cedar Valley Humane Society Board leadership believes euthanasia is an unfortunate reality. As a result we do not feel our donations are being used in a manner which supports the fundamental objectives of the Cedar Valley Humane Society.
