Commute Danyel Burnett from Federal USP life Sentence No Parole Non Violent Offender to Time Served

In 2001 Danyel Burnett was sentenced to life in U.S. Federal Prison with no chance for Parole on Non Violent Drug charges. Based on the sentencing structure utilized by the sentencing commission the offenders criminal record is aggregated from points assigned to every charge whether or not the charge was substantiated or not. The offender may have already served time for the charges that are being reassessed against them for the Federal sentencing phase of the trial. This form of sentencing structure is called double jeopardy clause of the Fifth Amendment of the United States of America Constitution. The sentencing commission has changed some of the structuring guidelines in the last couple of years, but this has not offered any relief for offenders that were sentenced before the changes went into effect no retroactive relief for prisoners in the overcrowding federal prison system.
