Nominate a Woman For Artist of The Year AMA

Five artists are nominated for Artist of The Year for the November 19th American Music Awards. Not one of them is female. This is not because there was a lack of amazing work by female artists this year, which makes it really seem like simple sexism. 

Sign the petition to ask the AMAs to nominate at least one woman for their biggest award.

Kesha, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Lorde, SZA, Cardi B., Lana Del Ray and Shania Twain all had huge years. So why is not one of them nominated here? Kesha especially has overcome so much trial and tribulation in the industry and still managed to come out with an extremely successful album this year. 

Please add your name to implore the AMAs to accurately celebrate that amazing work of women in music.
