Pass National Animal Welfare Law That Prohibits Mistreatment of Live Animals like Rabbits

I find it very sad and disheartening that so many humans feel it necessary to mistreat animals. It just stuns me how many people are so heartless in how these creatures are treated and handled as though they are objects with no feelings or emotions which has been proven to be so far from the truth.  Such is the case in China and those in any and all animal industries.\

One such animal industries is the Chinese Fur Farms and slaughterhouses in China.  You can read more on this cruel and disturbing issue at http://investigations.peta.org/china-rabbit-fur/?utm_campaign=China%20Rabbit%20Fur%20Investigation%20022016&utm_source=PETA%20E-Mail&utm_medium=Alert#action.  As stated in this information, an investigation has been implemented to determine any wrongdoings regarding the treatment of the animals in these fur farms. Results of the investigation was very disturbing, showing that foxes being electrocuted, dogs bludgeoned to death, and raccoon dogs skinned alive. Additionally, rabbits are forced to live in cramped, filthy cages before finally being strung up and skinned, sometimes while still alive. Most of the rabbits were kept outside in all weather extremes.  Many of the rabbits killed for their fur are very young, just six months old. Others are kept for breeding purposes, only to have their babies killed.  The animals kept in these types of facilities never receive necessary veterinary care for any reasons, including skin or leg injuries.

My efforts through this petition is to speak out to the Chinese Government and ask them to pass a national animal welfare law that would provide animals the protection they so need and deserve.  Animal abuse and cruelty needs to stop.  Help me with this endeavor in protecting these animals by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own thoughts and comments.

Chinese Government – President Xi Jinping – Animal cruelty and abuse is continually on the rise worldwide, including in your own country.  Such abuse is eminent in various animal industries including the rabbit fur industry.  It has been reported that the rabbits endure extreme cruelty such as smashing in their heads, slashing their throats and literally skinning them while alive while the poor animal was kicking, twitching and bleeding.  Additional investigations show that many rabbits were shocked with electrical devices, causing them to scream in pain.  This is cruel and inhumane treatment of these animals.  All animals in any and all industries (and in personal homes as pets) do not deserve such treatment and I strongly urge you to pass a National Animal Welfare Law against animal abuse and cruelty, a law that you will strictly enforce to protect animals countrywide.
