Religous freedom

The first Amendment of the constitution and also the bill of rights, guarantee freedom of religion. It also requires that a wall of separation be maintained between church and state : Congress shall make no law prohibiting the exercise thereof.
Yet the law now states that a homosexual couple can sue a church if they refuse to marry them. Case in point: Clerk Kim Davis od Rowan County Ky. was arrested for refusing to issue a marriage license to a homosexual couple. Kim Davis reason for denial was because it went against her religious belief. This is an infringement on not only Mrs. Davis but also on every religious person in the United States!
