Save the Great Bear Rainforest from Logging

  • af: Animal Advocates
  • mottagare: Premier of British Columbia, Deputy Minister of Forests, Lands and Natural Resources

British Columbia's Great Bear Rainforest is a unique ecosystem, home 400 Spirit Bears, and other species found nowhere else. It is one of the last intact coastal temperate rainforests on the planet- and half of it is under threat from logging.

70% of natural old-growth forest needs to be off limits from logging, according to science, yet logging is still permitted in 50%.

We ask the decision makers to commit to saving the Great Bear Rainforest and limit the logging industry's irreversible damage. Protect the Great Bear Rainforest, not corporate interests.
