Cellular Devices Must be Unlocked immediately

Cellular service providers are violating their "voluntary" unlock provisions under the S.517 - Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act. Consumers are still finding themselves without a working device while service providers take 2 or more days to unlock devices. If a cellular device is paid for and is not in either a payment plan or service contract then consumers demand that devices be unlocked immediately upon the device owners request.
