Stop Discrimination Stop GAMCA

Under the hiring policies of GCC states – Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, foreign workers from the India, Srilanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Philippines, Nepal, Indonesia other Asian countries are required to pass the medical tests conducted only by GAMCA ( GCC Approved Medical Centres’ Association ) clinics.

GAMCA guidelines are clear discrimination of workers basic rights. GAMCA guidelines declare an individual unfit to work/live in GCC countries even though he/she doesn't have any infectious or Non-infectious disease.

Cases like Past TB history, old scar, minor physical disability or any kind of abnormality ( i.e psoriasis, virtigo ) are all declared as medically UNFIT. Immoral attitude and lack of medical examination detail at the GAMCA medical centers well known.

We appeal to GCC health ministers council to amend the guidelines which are clear violation of workers rights. Individuals those are healthy and have no active disease and no harm to general public health should not be declared unfit on the basis of previous history or minor abnormality.
