Help the Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef has many threats as bleaching caused by climate change, and poor water quality from land run off, this leads to outbreaks of the Crown-of Thorns Starfish in larger than normal numbers which are eating the coral before it has a chance to grow back. The use of Tributyltin (TBT) that they use to protect the hulls of the ships which is toxic to the sea water, it can damage the marine organisms that it’s released on. To minimise the damage to the marine life we should try to find something different to use instead of the TBT. We need to find ways to change this to save the Great Barrier Reef.
