Demand that horse and carriage sightseeing tours be abolished

While on vacation in New Orleans I was disturbed to see horse drawn carriages being used as sightseeing transportation. Not only are they having to pull carriages full of people in the blistering heat, but they are forced to stand for long periods of time nose to carriage just waiting to have to take their turn again. One of them that went by was so hot and tired it’s tongue was hanging out. Many of them are sway backed and are probably too old to be doing this anymore. These creatures are not meant to be part of tourist attractions. There are many other ways to sightsee. Large window buses trolleys. Trains etc. Please help me in putting a stop to this cruel and neglectful acts.
