The Edmonton Grads was a women's basketball team started by coach J. Percy Page and a team of graduates from McDougall High School in Edmonton, Alberta. The team was active from 1915 through to 1940. During that time they competed in four Olympic games where they went undefeated. The team won a grand total of 108 local, provincial, national and international titles and were undisputed world champions for 17 years in a row.

Their coach and the many women that represented the Edmonton Grads deserve to have their story told to a new generation of Canadians so that their legend endures. A dramatized account would not only serve to promote the sport of basketball but would present a unique opportunity to portray what highschool was like for women in the early 20th century. The show could also explore racial and other social issues specific to Alberta.
