Idaho 4th District Officials Against 1099 Change

We, the undersigned Certified Sports Officials of the Idaho High School Athletic Association Fourth District, hereby make the following statements. Whereby, we are independent contractors to each school; And Whereby, we work athletic competitions for each school independent of each other; And Wherby, we do not work for, and are not compensated by anyone other than the schools we work for, We, request that All Fourth District School Districts issue annual 1099's in accordance with IRS rules directly between the School District and the individual officials of the Fourth District and NOT through a third party vendor (RefPay or ArbiterSports). Failure by any school to agree to these terms may result in the officials right to block that school from his/her work schedule.

We appreciate all those that will sign our petition and respect those who choose not to sign. However, we need signers willing to be acknowledged for making this important statement.
Because of the nature and purpose behind this petition, we ask that you please not hide your name as a signer. Having said this, if you have a desire to support the 4th District Basketball and Football Association, we will take your support anyway we can.
