A decent pay rise for care assistants

Care assistant are very underpaid for the amazing job they do, they look afer other peoples loved ones when they can no longer cope,They spend enormous time away from their own families missing birthdays anniversaries Christmas etc they deal with bodily fluids that no-one wants to, they are exposed to illnesses. They work short staffed and sometimes without A break often taking on extra shifts because of staff shortages without it benefiting anyone but the tax man A decent pay rise for this profession is needed. Carers are working for national living wage with everything that is put onto these people the wage doesn't match up. It's about time that these hard working selfless people are given a fair wage.
