Respect the Free Press, President Trump

President Trump - In your short tenure as a politician, you've made multiple attacks against a free press, one of the bedrocks of society. By getting your supporters to jeer reporters and labeling the media "the enemy," you've shown outright hostility to the media.

Your latest tweet threatening to revoke NBC's license after publishing a critical story about you is highly problematic. The president does not and should not have the ability to stop a news outlet from reporting.

We urge you, the president of the United States, to strive to respect the Constitution rather than repeatedly attempting to undermine it. Although that seems like a pretty minimal standard to clear, your unflagging contempt for the press has failed to clear that mark thus far.
