According to Variety, Jonathan Majors has been arrested for allegedly assaulting (including strangling) a 30-year-old woman. Other women are now coming forward to reveal similar stories and they are cooperating with the DA. People who have known Majors and worked with him are now speaking out about an alleged pattern of his abuse of women. Disney/Marvel should follow the lead of other companies and entities that have dropped their projects with Majors, and fire him from the MCU's Phase 5. Disney/Marvel already cast Bill Murray in the latest MCU film, Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania, despite Bill Murray's ex-wife Jennifer Butler having accused him of having hit her and then having told her that she was "lucky he didn't kill her," as reported by the Baltimore Sun. Murray's character appears to have probably died in the film, so hopefully Disney/Marvel won't bring him back to reprise the role in any future MCU projects, and Josh Brolin (who played Thanos in the MCU, and who was arrested for domestic abuse of his then-wife Diane Lane in 2004, though Lane did not wish to press charges, despite her having called the police to report that Brolin had hit her) appears to be done with that role in the MCU. However, all of Phase 5 (the Multiversal Saga) is planned to be built around Kang, currently played by Jonathan Majors. Disney/Marvel should recast Kang immediately and drop its association with Majors.
