Petition to demand the owners and Corps of Engineers expedite the repair or completely tear down the dam at Dawt Mill

Recent flooding has caused damage to the dam and the Corps has slowed requests to fix the damage because of mitigating factors such as an endangered amphibian. Several people have had extremely close calls at the dams broken part and now a young girl has lost her life by becoming entrapped in the damaged area of the dam trying to help another endangered swimmer. Enough is enough--it's time for the corps to do their jobs and ensure public safety on our waterways.
