I suffer from an allergy to Mono Sodium Glutemate - MSG - E612 - a flavour enhancer. It is used by food manufacturers in products like sausages, often marketed as 'Farm Made' or 'Organic'. It is not necessary and indeed can be harmful or life threatening. MSG occurs naturally in much that we eat. Many supermarkets have no MSG in their label products it is time the farm shops and butchers did the same.
