Legal Flamethrowers

The recent uprising in excitement for the use of civilian owned flame throwers is in a rise. because of Elon Musk's "The Boring Company's" creation of a cheap, affordable source of entertainment for Adults. It has come to my attention that myself, and thousands of other Marylanders are not able to access this source of entertainment in Maryland. Where in other states where it is a high environmental risk (eg: California) it is still obtainable via permit. Why in the state of Maryland is it Illegal to use an object in which may prove useful in daily life to some people. Civilians may use it to burn excess wood build up, start bon fires quick and easy, or even just take it out for a fun day on the range with my other 50 firearms. any form of legalization would be nice. My only wish is to make this amazing firearm legal in 49 states.
